PHILOSOPHY

Design is far more than creating beautiful interiors, it's about creating spaces that work for your life and your needs. A well designed home benefits your life in real, tangible ways every day. Every client or family that I work with is unique, each with specific needs and desires for their space. Each project poses a new set of challenges and opportunities.  My goal is to find the best possible design solutions, while creating a stunning space that could have only been designed for you.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

From a very young age I have had a passion for the Arts, training in music, theatre, dance, and visual arts.  Over the years I developed a deep passion for Interior Design and Architecture.   

I completed my Bachelor of Design degree at the Ontario College of Art and Design University, majoring in Environmental Design, an interdisciplinary approach to Architecture and Interior Design. I am an ARIDO member, and I have experience with both residential and commercial Design. 

Before starting Caitlin Jacobs Design I gained valuable experience working for top Waterloo-based Designer Alison Habermehl. I was able to contribute to exciting projects, including work seen on House & Home, and a DXV ad campaign, as seen in international publications such as Elle Décor, Architectural Digest, and Vanity Fair. I also currently work as a Kitchen Designer at Chervin Kitchen and Bath in Waterloo, working with clients to create beautiful custom kitchens and built-ins throughout the home.
